Privacy Policy

This document explains, in plain language, what we collect when you use the app and the services that support it.

The short version

We try to collect as little as possible. The app is designed to work without a personal account, and most of what it stores stays on your device. When information does leave your device, it is for a clear purpose, such as keeping the question bank healthy, helping us understand how the app is used, or processing a purchase.

Information we collect

We may collect a small amount of information that helps the app function and improve over time. This may include:

• Anonymous usage and crash reports, used to identify problems and prioritize improvements.
• A non-identifying device token, used to associate reports and feedback with the device that sent them.
• Reports you submit about questions, including the content you choose to send in the optional note field.
• Purchase confirmations relayed by Apple, used to unlock the content you have paid for.

We do not ask for your name, email address, or location. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent any data to third parties.

What stays on your device

Your study history, saved questions, mistake records, and preferences are stored on your device. They are not transmitted to our servers as part of normal use. If you delete the app, this information is removed with it.

Third-party services

The app uses a small number of well-known services to function. These services may receive limited technical information, such as device type, operating system version, and anonymous identifiers. They are bound by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

• Apple, for in-app purchases and review prompts.
• Google Firebase, for crash reporting and aggregate usage analytics.
• Our own server, used to receive question reports and to deliver updated study content.

We do not use this information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

The app is intended for a general audience preparing for a private pilot license. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can stop sharing information with us at any time by uninstalling the app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date below.
